1. Publisher and service
Merci and lejeudelagratitude.com are published by Louis Collin, a French sole trader under the micro-entrepreneur regime, trading as LC Developments, SIREN 853 113 090, SIRET 853 113 090 00023. Address: 60 rue François 1er, 75008 Paris, France. Contact: contact@leffetcoherence.com; +33 6 06 95 09 88.
Merci is a personal gratitude journal with progress, statistics and optional sharing. “Game” describes that experience; it does not mean gambling or a competition with prizes. The app is a wellbeing tool and does not provide diagnosis, medical treatment or guaranteed health outcomes.
2. Access and free version
The app is intended for iOS and Android in French and English. Each store listing specifies availability and compatible devices. The journal requires no Merci account and operates locally. An internet connection is needed for purchases and entitlement checks.
The free version allows 20 new gratitude entries per local calendar day. Unused places do not carry over. Deleting an entry does not restore a used place; editing an entry is not a new creation. Week view and the free statistics features remain available as described in the app.
The service is primarily intended for adults and teenagers. Minors may use it subject to the capacity and parental permission rules of their country and store. Any legally required permission must be obtained before subscribing.
3. Premium and purchasing
Premium removes the free daily creation limit and provides the Premium views and statistics shown before purchase. “Unlimited” does not remove device storage capacity or reasonable technical constraints.
Monthly and annual plans are intended. There is no free Premium trial. The free version is ongoing; continuing free does not start a subscription. If you confirm a purchase, the plan is paid from the start.
The App Store or Google Play displays the price, currency, taxes and total charge for the billing period before confirmation. That price applies to the purchase. The annual plan is paid annually; a monthly equivalent does not mean monthly instalments. Payment uses the relevant store and RevenueCat manages entitlements. No purchase is made directly on the landing page.
4. Renewal and cancellation
Subscriptions renew automatically for the corresponding next period unless cancelled. You can turn off renewal through the store account used to purchase. Price changes follow the store’s notices and rules and applicable mandatory rights.
Apple: open Settings on your iPhone or iPad, your name, Subscriptions and Merci. Guide: https://support.apple.com/en-us/118428.
Google Play: use the purchasing account, open your profile, Payments & subscriptions, Subscriptions and Merci, or https://play.google.com/store/account/subscriptions. Guide: https://support.google.com/googleplay/answer/7018481?hl=en.
Cancellation stops future renewals. Access normally remains until the date shown by the store, subject to a refund or change in entitlement. Uninstalling the app, erasing the journal or emailing support does not cancel a subscription.
5. Expiry and purchase restoration
When Premium expires, existing entries are not deleted. Free limits and access apply again. Entries already created that day count when calculating the remaining free allowance.
To recover a purchase, use the same store and associated Apple or Google account, then the app’s restore function where offered. Purchase restoration concerns Premium and does not automatically restore the journal. Transfer between Apple and Google or separate accounts is not guaranteed.
6. Journal, backups and sharing
The journal is stored on your device. The publisher does not hold a server copy for recovery. Save a backup and Restore a backup allow you to manage a file you choose. It is readable, contains journal and profile information, and is not encrypted by Merci.
An import may offer merging or replacement. Review the effects and conflicts shown before confirming. A copy before the last import, where available, remains local and can be lost with app storage. Previously exported files remain under your control and are not removed by local erasure.
Sharing a card or file is your choice. Check its contents and recipient, especially if it mentions other people. Selected services apply their own terms.
7. Reminders and operation
Local reminders are optional and require device permission. Display also depends on the device and focus or power-saving settings. A scheduled time is not a guarantee of delivery to the minute. Reopening the app may be necessary to renew scheduling; indefinite delivery without reopening is not promised.
8. Withdrawal and refund requests
Where a distance-contract withdrawal right applies, you have fourteen days from conclusion to exercise it without giving a reason. Sending the notice before the deadline is sufficient. Withdrawing from an initial subscription and cancelling future renewals are separate actions.
Notify the relevant trader by an unambiguous statement, by post or electronically. You may use the model below, but it is optional. Keep a copy and evidence of sending it. The trader responsible for the store transaction is identified in the listing, purchase screen or receipt. The applicable trader and procedure can vary by country.
For a transaction billed by Apple Distribution International Ltd. under the French Apple terms, those terms allow a request within fourteen days of receiving the receipt: open the purchase in your Apple purchase history or use https://reportaproblem.apple.com. You may also contact Apple Distribution International Ltd., Apple Support, Hollyhill Industrial Estate, Hollyhill, Cork, Republic of Ireland, rightofwithdrawal@apple.com. The terms for your country apply: https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/.
Under the French Google Play terms, the merchant is Google Commerce Limited, c/o Customer Support, 70 Sir John Rogerson’s Quay, Dublin 2, D02R296, Ireland. Those terms distinguish services and digital content. For a service, the statutory period they describe is fourteen days after purchase. Follow the applicable terms and online refund procedure or notify Google Commerce Limited at that address. The contact number listed in the French terms is 0805 980 055. See https://play.google.com/intl/fr_fr/about/play-terms/index.html and https://support.google.com/googleplay/answer/2479637?hl=en.
For a service contract for which Louis Collin is the relevant trader, notify Louis Collin EI, LC Developments, 60 rue François 1er, 75008 Paris, France, or contact@leffetcoherence.com; telephone +33 6 06 95 09 88. You may also contact us for guidance about the merchant on your receipt or difficulty exercising your rights. A message to the publisher does not replace a notice to the relevant merchant where required.
For a valid withdrawal, payments covered by the contract are refunded without undue delay and within fourteen days of receiving the notice, using the original payment method unless you expressly agree otherwise, without a fee to you. A store-billed transaction is refunded through its payment system.
If you expressly requested a service to start before the withdrawal period ends, a proportionate amount for service actually supplied may remain payable under Article L. 221-25 of the French Consumer Code. This cannot be demanded where the required information or express request is missing.
Immediate Premium access alone does not remove the right. For paid services, the exception in Article L. 221-28(1) requires, in particular, full performance, prior express agreement and acknowledgement of losing the right after full performance. For digital content not supplied on a tangible medium, paragraph 13 requires the legal conditions of prior express consent, acknowledgement of losing the right and contract confirmation. The actual purchase and store interface determine whether these conditions are met. These terms impose no blanket exclusion of refunds.
Claims for non-conformity or other statutory rights remain available independently of withdrawal. Mandatory protections applicable in your country are preserved.

9. Statutory guarantees, operation and updates
For the Merci service supplied by the publisher, the trader responsible for the guarantees is Louis Collin EI, LC Developments, 60 rue François 1er, 75008 Paris, France, contact@leffetcoherence.com, +33 6 06 95 09 88. This does not remove any statutory remedies against the store merchant for its own transaction.
Premium is supplied continuously during the subscription period: one month for monthly or one year for annual, and throughout each renewed period. The guarantee for continuous supply covers that entire supply; these periods do not reduce statutory time limits for bringing a claim.
This notice translates the French statutory model in the annex to Article D. 211-4, adapted to monthly and annual supply periods. Mandatory applicable provisions remain effective.
Report problems to contact@leffetcoherence.com with your app version, device and a description. Updates required for conformity and security are supplied according to applicable legal obligations, with necessary installation information.
Maintenance, the device, network and purchase services may affect operation. The publisher does not promise uninterrupted availability independent of those services. This does not exclude statutory liability or consumer conformity rights.
10. Use, ownership and changes
The service is for personal use. You must not bypass purchases, disrupt the service or exploit protected content without permission, subject to statutory exceptions. You retain rights in your own entries; using Merci does not give the publisher permission to publish your journal.
Illustrations, editorial text and app materials remain subject to their owners’ rights. The store terms and applicable app licence supplement these terms without removing statutory rights.
Significant changes are communicated appropriately and do not retroactively remove acquired rights. Maintenance, networks and store services can affect operation; this is not a general exclusion of liability or statutory guarantees.
11. Privacy, complaints and applicable law
The privacy policy explains local storage, sharing, purchases, website data and support. Accepting these terms does not replace any specific consent required by law.
First send complaints to contact@leffetcoherence.com or Louis Collin EI, LC Developments, 60 rue François 1er, 75008 Paris, France.
The publisher has not currently designated a consumer mediator. This does not deprive consumers of statutory rights and remedies.
French law applies without depriving consumers of mandatory protections in their country of residence. Jurisdiction follows applicable law; no exclusive Paris jurisdiction is imposed.
